How Affordable Life Insurance Can Be Found Through Final Expense Insurance

Affordable life insurance is what we all are looking for when we search for ways to protect our family after our death. It is important to keep your loved ones out of financial ruin, but that doesn’t mean you have to go broke to do it.

If you are looking for affordable life insurance, you can find it through a great policy known as final expense insurance.

Here is how…

Final Expense Insurance Is Competitive

Everywhere you look it seems that there is another life insurance commercial.

But that’s a benefit to you because competition means insurers want to keep prices as low as possible for their potential customers.

Since many insurance agents, like us at Gee Insurance Solutions, are able to represent multiple carriers, we are able to make sure we shop around and get you the most affordable life insurance rate available.

Simplified Underwriting Makes For Affordable Life Insurance

One of the advantages of buying a final expense life insurance policy is that the underwriting is pretty simple.

All that is needed are a few health related questions.

While it may seem that not requiring detailed health evaluations would increase rates, the fact is that some people don’t pass the health questions. High risk individuals are eliminated (although they have other options), and the insurance company keeps costs low by not personally evaluating each applicant.

For this reason, final expense insurance is affordable and easy to purchase.

Final Expense Policies Have Low Face Amounts

What is the face amount of an insurance policy? It is how much your beneficiaries will be paid upon your death.

Some people purchase very high face values for their life insurance policies.

Many others just want their family to have enough to pay for a funeral and some outstanding debts. Final expense insurance would be a perfect fit for this type of life insurance buyer.

Final expense policies typically pay out no more than about $25,000. This helps people feel confident that their families will not suffer financially when taking care of a funeral.

Since face amounts of a final expense life policy are low, the premiums are also kept low and affordable.

Where to Find the Best Affordable Life Insurance?

Affordable life insurance can be found by looking online for yourself or using an agent.

Looking online yourself can seem easier, but if you use an agent, you will have an actual person be your advocate during your purchase and during the life of the policy.

We’d love to help our! Feel free to contact us and we will show you how affordable life insurance is within your grasp!

Things To Avoid When Buying Used Cars In Dallas

One thing people in Dallas know is that you can’t rely on public transportation in the City. Dallas has DART for buses and rail, but to get around the city and the entire area, it is very beneficial to have your own car.

Almost 24 millions vehicles are registered in Texas each year, and while many of those are commercial vehicles, it stands to reason that Texans, and Dallas residents in particular buy a lot of cars each year.

Many people purchase used cars, and the reasons vary. Usually people buy a used car because of the lower cost. Others like knowing that a car didn’t come off the assembly line with problems. For many, a used car is the perfect vehicle for their child. In any event, you can find plenty of used cars for sale if you need one.

Things To Avoid When Buying A Used Car In Dallas

While there are reasons to buy a used car in Dallas, many people tend to make the same mistakes while making their purchase.

Here are some of the biggest things to avoid when buying your next used car…

Don’t Forget To Look At The Mileage

People always notice the year of the car or truck they are buying, but as strange as it sounds, many people forget to notice the mileage of the car.

Dallasites drive everywhere, and they usually have to drive a decent distance to get anywhere. Before you know it, the mileage of the car has skyrocketed.

And don’t forget that driving in Dallas includes a lot of start and stops, so even if the mileage isn’t too high, the car could have driven some tough distances. Make sure you are also checking on the vehicle service history. That will give you a good idea if Dallas-Fort Worth traffic was hard on the car you want to buy.

Stick With Looking At Cars In The Dallas Area

Many people want to look throughout the state of Texas, and maybe into Oklahoma for used cars. After all, why not cast a greater net to get a great deal?

In general, there isn’t anything wrong with that, however, it can be beneficial to stay in your own backyard.

Living in Dallas gives you an enormous advantage when searching for a new car: there are thousands of vehicles available. Do you really think you’ll find a better car or deal by searching in other cities like Waco, Austin, Houston, or San Antonio?

Maybe you will, but many people have found that they just spend a lot of time and money looking for cars that aren’t any better than what is down the block.

Dig Deep With The Owner Or Dealer

A problem that I hear about from my clients in Dallas is that they don’t do a good enough job of asking questions of the person they are buying the car from.

A vehicle listing will typically focus on the good aspects of the car, leaving the buyer to ask about conditions that the seller doesn’t want to disclose. I had a friend buy a truck with a steering wheel that fell off. Seriously.

It’s always a good idea to take someone with you when buying a car. When you need a car, it’s easy to only see the good things. A friend or family member with an objective eye can help you know whether or not that vehicle you want is a worthy purchase.

Buying a used car in DFW is a worthwhile thing to do if you are in the market, but make sure to remember these things to avoid when buying a used car in Dallas.

Great Places To Take The Grandchildren In Dallas

Do you live in Dallas,TX, and are the grandkids coming over to visit? Looking for something to do with them? It’s a common thing we hear from Gee Insurance Solutions clients.

Fortunately, living in the Dallas-Fort Worth area is a huge advantage when it comes to entertaining guests, especially the littlest of them. Here are some great places to take the grandchildren in Dallas.

Don’t forget to pack the sunscreen, it’ll be warm, but fun at some of the locations…

Klyde Warren Park

As Dallas began to redefine downtown, Klyde Warren Park became a centerpiece. Located above Woodall Rodgers Freeway, the park is a great place to take kids during any season.

Klyde Warren Park has food trucks, a splash pad, plenty of green space, and lots of activities for the kids to do (check out their family activity guide).

My kids love it, and yours will too. Find out more information here.

Dallas Zoo

What kid doesn’t love a trip to the zoo. Ok, maybe some, but for those that like to see all the animals that the world has to offer, the Dallas Zoo is a great place to take the grandchildren in Dallas.

The zoo was founded in 1888 with just two deer and two mountain lions. Today the zoo has over 2,000 animals and some amazing exhibits.

Find out more about the Dallas Zoo here.

Dallas Arboretum

You don’t have to go with kids who love flowers to enjoy the Dallas Arboretum, although that is definitely a plus.

The Arboretum and Botanical Gardens is located near White Rock Lake on 66 acres that include a complete life science laboratory for kids and many family programs.

Plus, the flowers and other vegetation is beautiful no matter the time of year. I enjoy going in the spring or fall to avoid the heat, but it is always a day well spent. And it will wear the kids out and make them fall asleep on the ride home. When you need places to take the grandchildren in Dallas, don’t forget this location.

Find out more about the Dallas Arboretum here.

Sixth Floor Museum

Your younger grandkids won’t care about the Sixth Floor Museum, but the older kids might. The Sixth Floor Museum is dedicated to the memory of President John F. Kennedy who was “allegedly” assassinated from a window on the sixth floor of the Texas School Book Depository by Lee Harvey Oswald.

The museum has all sorts of artifacts and collections surrounding JFK’s life, presidency, death, and more.

For more information, check out their website here.

Perot Museum of Nature and Science

Simply put, the Perot Museum of Nature and Science is amazing. There is so much to do there that you can’t get it all in during one visit, but you’ll happily come back a second and third time.

It is located in Dallas on the north side of Woodall Rodgers Freeway, and its proximity to Klyde Warren Park can allow you to do both things on the same day.

The museum has so many features that kids of all ages and interests can find something they like. My oldest son loves racing the T-Rex on the bottom floor.

What About Staying In?

What if it rains, or what if everyone is tired and just wants to stay in? Everyone run to the electronics! Ha, no, we don’t want that. If the kids are over, then I want to spend time with them. But yes, staying inside can get boring for kids.

Something I have found that I love is the book 101 Kids Activities That Are The Bestest, Funnest Ever!.

This book is full of great activities with age specific variations to keep everyone busy during the summer, weekend, or whenever.

Check it out.
